Starlase AO16

A 1.6 kilowatt acousto-optically switched, diode pumped Nd:YAG DPSS laser system. Delivering high average powers at a wavelength of 1064nm, unpolarised. Rugged head design and a custom control system provide a platform that is ideally suited to industrial applications. Stable operation is provided over a wide range of pulsing frequencies. The control system is desgned for easy process and integration. Microprocessor architecture allows for serial, touch-screen control and simple synchronisation with OEM equipment and process lines. A condition monitoring suite provides details, real-time of laser performance using power monitors and internal diagnostics. First pulse control and CW leakage suppression can be provided across the performance range. An output attenuator and/or fibre delivery is available to provide flexible beam delivery and output power control. The laser system has been designed for high volume manufacturing environments. External facility requirements are limited to an electrical supply / coolant water and Purge gas (CDA or N2).
