The use of lasers in the machine tool industry is well known. Powerlase Photonics offers new possibilities in laser cutting and milling. The rapid cutting and milling of Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) and the processing of Tungsten Carbide (WC) at commercially acceptable rates becomes possible with these systems, as does the processing of materials as diverse as Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Aluminium, Galvanised Steel, Anodised Aluminium and Nickel Super Alloys.
